Anti-Bullying week - November 2019
During our last Anti-Bullying week in November 2019, the theme was "Change starts with us", which is certainly true here at school. One of our core values is ‘responsibility’ and that means that we take responsibility for the way in which we treat others and the way that we take a stand against people who choose to treat others poorly. During the assembly led by our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, we clarified what bullying means: many times and on purpose.
During the week, there were lots of events taking place - such as our Positivity Postbox; reading time with the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors; raising money for Children in Need through a dress down day; and not forgetting the poster competition!
Remember, if you or someone you know is being bullied, you can talk to one of the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, put a note in the worry box or tell a trusted adult.
Well done to the winners of our poster competition! Take a look at some of our fantastic winning entries.
