School Parliament
Do you want to help make a difference at school?
The School Parliament plays a vital role at Sir John Heron.
Our School Parliament 2021-2022
Year 6- Harry, Tehana, Zidane and Sebi; Year 5 - Ayna, Hudhayfah, Ania and Ibrahim
Year 4 - Hasan, Shayaan, Aarththy and Maria; Year 3 - Aisha N, Afrin, Hamzah and Liyana H

Every year, there are two children elected from every class as school parliament representatives (MPs) whose job is to make sure that every voice is heard. The MPs take responsibility and ask each and every individual child if they would like to make any effective changes to our school. The suggestions and feedback are shared with the Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary of the School Parliament during monthly meetings.
These suggestions are then brought to the attention of the adult in charge, who, in consultation with the Headteacher, will aim to make the necessary changes to make school a better place to learn.
