CANARY ISLAND ERUPTION

A volcano eruption has taken place on La Palma, one of the Canary Islands. Following more than 22,000 tremors, the volcano began to spew lava, ash and smoke high into the sky early on Sunday morning of 19 September. About 100 homes have been destroyed by lava. I think that this is shocking and unbelievable but because volcano eruptions are natural disasters there is no stopping them.

SPORT BAN FOR AFGHAN WOMEN

The devastating news just has been received a week after Kimia Yousofi and Zakia Khudadadi appeared for their country at the Olympics and Paralympics. Commenting on Afghanistan’s Women’s cricket team, Taliban politician, Ahmadullah Wasiq, said that it is not necessary that women should play cricket. Many people vocalize that the Taliban have no fear to use guns and batons against the Afghan citizens. I say this is injustice and they are not giving women chances. Women are not puny because they have inner power. That can only happen if you believe in yourself. The whole of Afghanistan should stand up and show their inner ability. They have the rights to do what they trust that will revive them. I state that we should show the Taliban who really needs to STOP.
