Sir John Heron Primary School

Together we learn. Together we achieve.

Mental Health and Wellbeing of Children

More than one in 10 primary school children aged five to 10 has an identifiable mental health condition – that’s around three children in every class. (Source: Anna Freud Centre 2024)

If you are concerned about your child’s mental health or wellbeing, please talk to Mr Kundu- SENCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead, or Miss Werrin- Senior Mental Health Lead.  You can also email wellbeing@sirjohnheron.newham.sch
