Year 2 brought History to life with an exciting live re-enactment of the Great Fire of London. The children designed and built their own Tudor houses using different materials, thinking carefully about what homes were made from in 1666 and why the fire spread so quickly. We then burned down the houses safely as part of our demonstration which helped the children to see just how fast flames could travel between the houses.
