We had a workshop with Growing against Violence (GAV).  This workshop built on what was discussed in our ‘So Social Media’ workshop that we had with them in year 5, and also the workshop that we had with Bob from Ambition, Aspire, Achieve, on being ‘Streetwise’. We worked on a definition of what a friend is, thought about how ‘gang’ members can appear like a friend but do not fall into the worked definition and heard from real life experiences of people who had formerly been gang members.
