Power for Good!
This morning, we hosted an Anti-bullying coffee morning for our parents/carers, led by Miss Werrin, Mr Kundu and our Anti-bullying Ambassadors. The theme of this year’s national Anti-bullying week is ‘Power for Good’.
At the start of the workshop, Miss Werrin introduced our Anti-bullying Ambassadors and explained that bullying is something that occurs ‘lots of times and on purpose’.
She followed this by giving the audience a whistle stop tour on how anti-bullying is weaved through the school’s PHSCE and wider curriculum. She then handed over to the Anti-bullying Ambassadors who delivered a presentation on what bullying is, and how to stamp it out. Finally, parents/carers had an opportunity to talk to our ambassadors one-to-one about how we stamp out bullying in our school.
