This week, pupils in year 6 have embarked on a 2-week block of swimming lessons at the marvellous Aquatics Centre in Stratford, home to the 2012 London Olympic Games. Here is what Amrin in Silver class had to say about the sessions: 

‘What I have learnt about swimming is that at first for me it was hard and I was nervous and I thought I was going to drown, but actually I managed to do it.  It was really tough at first but I managed to get through my fears. Some people think it is really easy but actually a lot of them have managed to now see how hard it is for others’.

Year 6 will conclude their swimming lessons on Friday 10th November. Until then, best of luck to our fabulous Risk Taking Heroes!
