This year’s Winter Reading Challenge theme is ‘Everyone a Hero.’ It works just like the Summer Reading Challenge but for the Winter Challenge children have to read three books of their choice. Children will receive a sticker for each book they read. Children should keep a record of all the books they have read for the challenge and return this to Manor Park library where they will be awarded a certificate. There are virtual rewards to unlock and lots of games, quizzes and activities to complete.

 

Libraries in Newham including Manor Park library are also running a drawing and writing competition. Winners will receive a special prize and a certificate. Children can pick up entry forms at any Newham library.
