Year 1 Visit Shah Jalal Mosque
During a Year 1 visit to Shah Jalal Mosque, pupils had the opportunity to learn about Islam and experience its practices. The visit began with an introduction to the mosque's customs, including the importance of modest attire and removing shoes before entering. Inside the prayer hall, we observed the peaceful atmosphere as the Imam demonstrated the call to prayer. We were encouraged to ask questions while being respectful and maintaining a quiet demeanor. We were all very excited to take part in the fun quiz designed by the imam of the mosque. The visit encouraged an understanding and appreciation for different religious traditions, promoting tolerance and cultural diversity among the Year 1 students.
