Year 4 Visits Sri Murugan Temple
Earlier this week, the year 4 children visited Sri Murugan Temple in Manor Park to learn more about how HIndus worship in a temple. They were guided by the temple priest, who told them about the importance of the five elements in Hinduism and why Hindus worship at a temple. The children also learnt about the different deities and rituals that Hindus believe in. This visit allowed the children to make links to their learning in class and they were curious about their learning, which led to them asking questions about worshipping in a temple.
