To commemorate our history topic, ‘The legacy of the Romans’, year 5 visited the British Museum. It was a very exciting day where pupils managed to see real life Roman artefacts! They came face to face with tombstones, mosaics, jewellery and pottery. They discovered a lot of new and fascinating facts about the objects and how important they are to all of us today, shaping modern life in Britain.
