Year 5 visited Greenwich Park on the last day before the half term break to explore the Millennium Sundial. We noticed that the sundial had a bronze gnomon (a vertical rod or pillar that casts a shadow to indicate the time), which was taller than all of us! We learnt that the sundial was installed in the year 2000 and designed by Chris Daniel. We had a great day out in the sun!
