  • Year 5 Parent Topic Afternoon

    Fri 07 Dec 2018

Parents joined Darwin and Nightingale classes on Thursday 6th December for a Design and Technology topic afternoon in our Hub. The Year 5 pupils and their parents showed off their sewing skills when they collaborated to make drawstring bags. They chose fabric, followed instructions given by Ms Kaur and Mr Kundu, and chose the type of stitching they wanted to use to sew pieces of fabric together. The Hub was buzzing, as always, with excited pupils and parents, all working together on an enjoyable task. In January, we will be rolling the workshops out to KS1 parents. All topic workshops will take place on a Wednesday. Please keep checking for letters about this on Fridays. We are looking forward to working with you soon!
