  • Nursery Playground in Progress!

    Fri 24 Feb 2023

Our new nursery outdoor area is being completely redeveloped and it has been carefully planned! Physical Development is very important in the EYFS and our new outside space has been designed to ensure children in our nursery can negotiate space and obstacles safely. It will allow them to demonstrate strength, balance and coordination while playing.  The equipment enables the children to take age appropriate risks which are built on when the nursery children move into our Reception, as the space becomes developmentally harder for them to negotiate.

Take a look at the photos of the progress being made!

  • Stay and Play Sessions

    Fri 10 Feb 2023

Please note that there will be no Stay and Play sessions in the week of Monday 20th February due to building works taking place.

Pop Up and Play will be continuing that week as normal.

  • NSPCC Number Day

    Wed 08 Feb 2023

Thank you for your support for NSPCC Number Day on Friday 3rd February! We are pleased to confirm that we raised a total of £135 for the NSPCC!

  • Family Friday- Mathematics

    Fri 03 Feb 2023

This morning we had a huge number of parents who came into Reception for our Family Friday with a mathematics focus. Family Fridays are a valuable experience for both children and their parents. When parents are invited into the classroom, children have the opportunity to show off their mathematical skills and share their learning with the people who are closest to them. Additionally, it can provide parents with a first-hand look at what their child is learning in mathematics, the types of activities and play they are engaging in, and how they are being challenged and engaged in the learning process.  By participating in Family Friday sessions, parents can gain a deeper understanding of the mathematics that their child is learning and can use this knowledge to support their child's learning at home. Please browse through the pictures from the session which took place today.

  • NSPCC Number Day!

    Thu 02 Feb 2023

Don't forget that tomorrow is NSPCC Number Day!

We are having a fun day of maths activities and we will be taking part in Dress up for Digits. Pupils are asked to wear an item of clothing with a number on it (football shirt, cap, netball shirt or even a onesie!). On the other hand, get even more creative by dressing in a maths or numbers theme.

To help raise money for the NSPCC to support their services such as Childline, we are asking for a voluntary donation of £1, and we would love everyone in the school to take part in this special event.

Last year we raised £233, let's see if we can beat the total this year!
