• Summer Reading Challenge Trophy!

  Well done to all the pupils who took part in the Manor Park Summer Reading Challenge! During the summer holiday, children were challenged to read 6 books, and this week, Shanti from Manor Park Library came in to give those pupils their certificate!

  Not only that, but because Sir John Heron has had the most number of pupils sign up to the library in the local area, we were given a special trophy by Councillor Makwana!
  The trophy will be put on display in our cabinet in the main foyer.
  Well done to all the children who took part and keep up the excellent reading!

  Thank you to everyone who took part in our Anti-Bullying Poster Competition during Anti-Bullying Week. We had some fantastic entries, and our winners were chosen in assembly on Friday 22nd November.

  Take a look at the Year 6 page to learn about the Tanni Grey class workshop, "Being Human", at Little Ilford Baptist Church. Children thoroughly enjoyed this workshop which involved reading fables, creating their own costumes and acting!

• Children In Need!

  Thank you to everyone who came in non-uniform today and wore yellow to promote friendship and kindness!

   

  Through your donations for the non-uniform day, the school has raised £356 for Children In Need!

  Children were rewarded with a special lunch with our Headteacher, Ms Broughton! Keep up the great work!
