  • Key worker list

    Fri 20 Mar 2020

The Government has published guidance on key workers. Below is information - please read through to identify whether or not you are a key worker. If you are a key worker and wish for your child to continue attending school, please contact the school as soon as possible by emailing info@sirjohnheron.newham.sch.uk or telephoning the school on 020 8514 9860. Many parents/ carers who are key workers may be able to make arrangements to keep their children at home while continuing to work themselves. Parents/ carers must ensure safe care of their children is put in place. Parents/ carers should not rely for childcare upon those who have been identified as vulnerable such as grandparents, friends or family members with underlying health conditions. However, if this is not possible, then the school is available for these children to attend. If you are a key worker and need childcare please send your children to school. Contact the school to inform us you want to do this.
