  • Reception Graduation 2022

    Mon 18 Jul 2022

Thank you all for coming to celebrate the graduation of our Reception children class of 2022. This is a monumental occasion in the lives of our children as they move from the EYFS into KS1. It is also a time to recognise the outstanding work and support of all the staff here, the parents and most of all our children.

We are so impressed with their progress this year and they have grown to see learning as fun, exciting with a passion that will help them as they advance in their education. Looking ahead, our children are very well equipped to take on the next part of their personal and educational lives.

They have formed a strong foundation and we feel especially confident that we have given our children a great start in life with the knowledge of many priceless lessons.

  • Year 5 Visits Windsor Castle

    Fri 15 Jul 2022

Yesterday, we visited the magnificent Windsor Castle, built by William the Conqueror around 1070. Upon arrival, we watched the Changing of the Guards and then set off for St George's Chapel, where a number of royals are buried; King Henry VIII, Jane Seymour, King Charles I, and an infant child of Queen Anne. After lunch, we visited the State Apartments and saw Queen Elizabeth II's coronation dress and cloak. It was a day filled with history, awe and wonder!

  • Fairplay House PM Activities 11.07.22

    Mon 11 Jul 2022

After lunch, we started the first activity of our stay. Some of our pupils had a canoeing session with the instructors. This was a relaxing but challenging activity to enjoy in the sun!

After dinner, which was delicious, we had to take responsibility for tidying up the dining room to develop our responsibility and independence.

We then went exploring on an evening walk and played some football before showering and getting ready for bed. An action packed day was had by all!
