This week, year 5 went on an exhilarating experience on the Uber Thames Clipper Boat from Woolwich to Canary Wharf. Whilst we were on the boat, some of us experienced the force of buoyancy for the first time. As we were sailing across the Thames, we noticed how air resistance and water resistance had an impact on how smooth the journey was as it certainly was a bumpy ride! We also had a glimpse of some lovely landmarks in London: The Gherkin, The Shard and Greenwich University. To finish off our day, we had lunch at the sky roof garden in Canary Wharf and explored the botany of Asia and Europe.
