Maths Open Lesson with parents/carers
Fri 30 Sep 2022A kind reminder that parents/carers are invited to our maths open lessons next week!
The sessions will show how Mathematics is being taught at our school. Mathematics is essential to everyday life and at Sir John Heron we are passionate about ensuring our children are skilled with the knowledge needed to be successful young adults. During the workshops, we will be focusing on addition, subtraction and questioning within classes. You will be able to view some of the calculation methods taught in school using concrete, pictorial and abstract representations.
By attending the workshop, we hope that you will feel more confident when supporting your child with their maths homework or asking questions when discussing their school work in general. There will be the opportunity for you to ask questions also.
