• A Final Week of Celebrations!

  What a sensational year it has been! As the final bell rings and we pack away our books, we want to take a moment to look back at everything our school community has achieved. From the very first day in September to these sunny July afternoons, our classrooms have been filled with laughter, curiosity, and immense growth. 

   

  Before we head off for a well-deserved summer break, we want to shine a spotlight on our incredible pupils who reached major milestones this term. Whether transitioning to a new key stage or preparing to take flight into secondary school, you have made us all endlessly proud.

   

  Watching our children in Reception, Year 2 and Year 6 don their mortarboards and collect their certificates at the Graduation Ceremonies was a beautiful reminder of how much they have blossomed and achieved. Well done!

   

  Our hearts are particularly full as we bid farewell to our Year 6 Leavers. We are so proud of you all, make sure you keep your positive outlook in life with you always! 

   

  To all our pupils, we wish you a safe, sunny, and joyful summer holiday. Rest up, have fun, keep safe and we look forward to welcoming many of you back in September.

   

  

• Year 6 End of Year Celebration

  Even though our original plan had to get cancelled, we came up with our own celebration which meant that everyone could be safe and have fun in school. We started off with a kite festival, with prizes for the most beautifully decorated, the kite that flew the highest and the one which stayed in the air for the longest. Then had a cool off with some tactical combat skills and highly competitive water battles which were so much fun!  We needed to replenish our energy so we had a wonderful bring and share picnic in the MUGA and then wrapped up the day with scavenger hunt and some general knowledge quizzes.

  

• Year 4 End of Year Visit

  The year 4 children had a fantastic time at their end-of-year visit to Chalkwell Beach, filling the day with laughter and sunshine. They made unforgettable memories splashing around in the refreshing water and building sculptures in the sand. After a busy and successful school year, a relaxing day by the sea was the perfect way to celebrate and bring the year to a wonderful close.

  

• Year 3 End of Year Visit

  For the Year 3 end of year trip, the children were taken to Chalkwell Beach. The children were excited on the way there as they were spotting different animals from the train. However, the real excitement began once they were on the beach as some of the children began to collect pebbles and shells. Lastly, the children were able to enjoy the water and have a splash around.

  

• Summer Fayre

  Once again, our annual Summer Fayre was a hit! Families joined us for an afternoon filled with candy floss, bouncy castles, face painting, smiles and so much more. We would like to thank our local community for supporting us!

  

• Stepping into the Future: A Fantastic Transition Morning!

  There was a wonderful buzz of excitement around the school this morning as children from Reception up to Year 5 took a giant step forward into their next academic year. Our Transition Morning was a huge success, giving pupils the perfect opportunity to spend time with their new class teachers and get a sneak peek at what awaits them in September.

  

• Year 5 End of Year Visit

  For our End of Year Visit, Year 5 went on the London Eye and River Boat Cruise. We first went on the River Boat Cruise; we enjoyed the fun facts from the presenter. It was extremely exciting when we went on the London Eye too; as we all enjoyed the views of London from a high viewpoint.

  

• Reception End of Year Visit

  The reception classes had a fantastic time celebrating the end of the school year with a special trip to Valentines Park. The sunshine made it a perfect day for a teddy bear’s picnic, where the children enjoyed sharing lunch with their special cuddly friends. There were lots of smiles, laughter and opportunities to relax together. The children played with the parachute and explored the playground, enjoying the swings, slides and climbing frame.
