NSPCC Number Day
Tue 11 Feb 2025At Sir John Heron we celebrated NSPCC's Number Day in style! To raise money for the charity we had a digit dress up and the children donated £1. We also invited our parents in to take part in different maths games including Times Table Rock Star battles. Year One even had a giant snakes and ladders on the carpet that their teacher had made. For our mathematics lessons, the children made cakes using their number skills to carefully measure out the ingredients. To top off the day, we then had a cake sale using the children's baked goods to raise more money. We raised over £400 and a great day was had by all!
