    Well done to this week's dinner winners who were treated to a special lunch with our Headteacher, Ms Broughton! These children demonstrated the school value "Resilience" this week.

  • Year 5 Parents Topic Workshop

    Thu 15 Nov 2018
    On Thursday 15th November, Year 5 parents came to school to participate in a creative Geography lesson with Darwin and Nightingale classes. Pupils and parents had to create famous man-made and natural North American landmarks and place them on a large map. Some of these included the Niagara Falls, Golden Gate Bridge, Rocky Mountains to name but a few. All KS2 parents will have the opportunity to work creatively with their children in our Hub on a regular basis; please keep checking for letters about this on Fridays. We are looking forward to working with you soon!
     
  • Year 6 Parents Topic Workshop

    On Thursday 8th November, Year 6 parents came to school to participate in a creative Geography lesson with the pupils. Pupils and parents had to map out the streets of our local area and add images of businesses, houses and other buildings to it. It was an enjoyable afternoon, particularly when we looked at the finished project and had to work out where we live! All KS2 parents will have the opportunity to work creatively with their children in our Hub on a regular basis; please keep checking for letters about this on Fridays!

    Well done to our dinner winners this week who have demonstrated the school value 'Resilience'! These children persevered in their learning this week and weren't afraid of a challenge! The children were rewarded with a special restaurant-style experience during lunchtime with our Headteacher, Ms Broughton!

    Well done to the Pixies who are the winning house for this term!

     

    All the children in the winning house will be rewarded with a visit to the cinema on Friday 19th October to watch "Early Man".

    Well done to our dinner winners this week who have demonstrated the school value 'Risk-taking'! These children showed that they were brave in class and not afraid to make mistakes in their learning this week! The children were rewarded with a special restaurant-style experience during lunchtime with our Deputy Head, Mr Howell!

     

    Next week's value is 'resilience' - don't be afraid to take on challenges and persevere through any difficulties you face!

  • Year 6 Tchoukball Competition

    Well done to all the Year 6 children involved in yesterday's Tchoukball competition!

     

    It was a fantastic effort from everyone, but the winners of the competition were ... the Trolls!

     

    Children played against each other to win house points for their house team, and at the end of the term, the winning house will be rewarded with a trip to the cinema!

     

    I hope you're all excited to see how the house point scores are looking in Friday's assembly!
