  • Year 5 Visits the Science Museum

    Last Friday, the year 5 students swapped their classroom desks for the wonders of the Science Museum, embarking on an unforgettable expedition to explore the mysteries of Earth and the vast reaches of space. The day was packed with discovery as students engaged with hands-on exhibits that broke down the complex forces shaping our planet, from the structural layers beneath our feet to the intricate global climate systems. The excitement truly soared when we ventured into the space galleries, where the children were captivated by the sheer scale of our solar system and learned about the rigorous challenges and triumphs of historic missions to space. By studying the courageous lives of astronauts and exploring the advanced technology behind the equipment they use, the students gained a profound new perspective on humanity's quest to reach the stars, leaving them inspired and eager to continue their journey of scientific exploration.

  • Water Safety at the London Aquatics Centre

    Our year 4 pupils visited the London Aquatics Centre today, where they learnt about water safety. Following a land session, they had the opportunity to put their new knowledge into practice in the pool. They even met some professional atheletes who gifted them brand new goggles! 

    It was a wonderful session! 

  • Family Friday-Mathematics

    Reception enjoyed a Family Friday session focused on mathematics, where parents joined in fun, hands-on activities. It was a great opportunity to see how mathematics is taught and to learn simple ideas to support children’s learning at home.
