  • KS2 Choir Afterschool Club

    Tue 21 Sep 2021

Every Tuesday, children from KS2 gather in the music room to attend our choir club led by Miss Slocombe. This week, I had the pleasure to listen to them rehearse the song 'Sing'.

I particularly found the chorus very powerful:

    'Sing it louder
    Sing it clearer
    Knowing everyone will hear you
    Make some noise
    Find your voice
    Tonight
    Sing it stronger
    Sing together
    Make this moment last forever
    Old and young
    Shouting love
    Tonight'

  • Stay and Play Sessions are Running Again

    Fri 10 Sep 2021

Have you got a child who is 18 months and over but has not yet started school nursery? Why not come along to our Stay and Play sessions which take place every Tuesday and Friday. We have two sessions, am session: 9.30-10.30 and pm session 1.15-2.15. This is a great opportunity for children to develop their communication skills, social skills and build their self-esteem and confidence within an early years setting, allowing for a better transition when they reach the nursery age of 3.

    Fri 06 Aug 2021

During the summer fun zone the children had different types of activities such as; sensory with bubbles, playing football, balancing on climbing frames., making dough and cutting shapes out of the dough, which gave the children a chance to explore their kitchen skills. They also participated in reading with the adults, painting and exploring the water tray. This gave the children a challenge finding different animals, also playing with different types of instruments and playing with balloon gloves.
