Year 3 Parent Topic Afternoon
Mon 11 Feb 2019On Wednesday 30th January, parents and pupils from Mozart Class participated in a creative Art/DT lesson, based on ‘Famous buildings’, and Bach class pupils and parents participated in the lesson on Wednesday 6th February. Pupils and parents had to use their knowledge of buildings to create a structure made out of spaghetti and plasticine. They had to carefully consider how to strengthen corners and think of the size and shape. The Hub was buzzing with excited pupils, as well as parents! All KS1 and 2 parents will have the opportunity to work creatively with their children in our Hub on a regular basis; please keep checking for letters about this on Fridays. We ask politely that parents/carers complete slips and send it back to school. We are looking forward to working with you soon! -

Thu 20 Dec 2018After plenty of practice in their PE lessons the Year 5 and 6 house point basketball competition was a fantastic opportunity for the children to put their skills and tactical plans into action. All of the games were very closely contested with some excellent attacking plays on display. The Trolls were the victorious house team in the end, after winning an epic final against the Pixies. They win a massive 600 house points for their team. Well done to all the children who participated so well!
