• Gilwell Park Day One

  We have already had lots of fun on our first day at Gilwell Park. After arriving at our destination, we explored the grounds and met our instructor for the week - Fic, who is all the way from Brazil!

  Once we settled into our spacious lodge, we all showed resilience and risk taking by taking part in a free fall activity.

  After enjoying a scrumptious dinner, we got ready for bed.

  We will update you later today to show you the adventures we have been on!

  

• Year 5 Eid Assembly

  Well done to all of our Year 5 children for their excellent Eid assembly today! The children even wrote the assembly themselves, which explained the importance of Eid, and included giving out gifts and singing Harris J's song, 'Eid Mubarak'!

   

  It was a great performance, well done to all the children!

   

  Thank you to all the parents/carers who came to watch the assembly, we hope you enjoyed the performance!

  

• School Closure: Thursday 23rd May

  Reminder that the school will be closed on Thursday 23rd May due to the premises being used as a polling station. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

   

  School will re-open as normal on Friday 24th May 2019.

• Year 1&2 Football Festival - REVISED EVENT

  Dear Parents/Carers

   

  Due to the bad weather and the grass being unsafe we have had to revise our plans for tomorrow. Parents will now be invited to take part with their children at the times stated below. THIS WILL TAKE PLACE AT SCHOOL.

   

  The children will be having a football picnic, so please bring a packed lunch if you did not request one from school.

   

  • Purple Class Parents are invited to take part from 9am-10am
  • Yellow Class Parents are invited to take part from 10.45-11.45am
  • Green Class Parents are invited to take part from 1pm-2pm
  • Orange Class Parents are invited to take part from 2pm-3pm

• Tesco funding for our mini-bus!

  The school has received the £4,000 funding from Tesco for our mini-bus!

   

  Thank you to everyone who voted for our cause in Tesco stores across Newham!

   

  We are very excited to receive this funding and look forward to getting a mini-bus very soon!

• Dinner Winners!

  Congratulations to all of the children who won the Value of the Week award! These children have demonstrated the school value of "Reasoning" this week.

   

  The children enjoyed a special lunch with Ms Broughton, and will be receiving special postcards through the post!

   

  Next week, the value will be "Resilience". Make sure you are determined in your learning next week, and keep trying even if you find it difficult!

• Year 6 Boys Tennis Competition

  Well done to the all the Year 6 boys who took part in the house point Tennis competition on Wednesday 27th March!

   

  Everyone played their hardest, but the overall winners of the competition were the Trolls!

   

  Well done to all the children who took part!

  

• Science Day

  Children had a great time during Science Day on 13th March! Children enjoyed watching science workshops and taking part in lots of fun science related activities!
