Safer Internet Coffee Morning
Thu 09 Jan 2025We had a good number of parents who attended the the Safer Internet Coffee Morning today, which was led by Miss Khanom and Mr Kundu. A number of things were discussed including; practical tips for protecting your personal information, staying safe from scams and ensuring your devices are secure. Parents were shown and supported with how to put parental controls on devices and managing screen time for their children.

PianoFunClub lessons have begun!
Wed 08 Jan 2025The PianoFun Club sessions have officially begun, bringing excitement to children who signed up for piano lessons with the talented music teacher. During their first session, the young musicians eagerly explored the piano, learning the basics in a fun and engaging way.

Coffee Morning - Thursday 9th January at 9am
Tue 07 Jan 2025Our next Coffee Morning will be held on Thursday 9th January from 9am - 9.45am.
The focus will be "Safer Internet" and we'll discuss practical tips for protecting your personal information, staying safe from scams and ensuring your devices are secure. We'll also talk about how to put parental controls on devices and manage screen time for children. Please bring your devices along.

Sessions for toddlers aged 12 months+

Call us on 0208 514 9860 to book onto one of our sessions now:
- Pop Up and Play (for toddlers aged 12-24 months) - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.20am-10.20am
- Stay and Play (for toddlers aged 18 months - 3 years) - Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am-9.45am.

Christmas Fayre
Wed 18 Dec 2024We had a wonderful time at the Christmas Fayre today! It was a joyous occasion with laughter, food, music and Christmas cheer filling the school building along with parents, carers, pupils and staff. We would like to thank our local community for supporting us. We wish you all a peaceful festive season!

Christmas Fayre today!
Wed 18 Dec 2024Our Christmas Fayre is happening today from 3.30pm-4.45pm, and we are all very excited!
Please come along and join us! There will be lots of activities, including Santa's Grotto, a festive family photo booth, raffle, face painting and henna, lots of tasty refreshments, and much more!
Entry: £1 for adults, free for children.
We can't wait to see you all!

Family Friday
Wed 18 Dec 2024Reception hosted another successful ' Family Friday' with lots of parents and carers in attendance! The focus for this session was gross motor skills and our parents and carers learnt all about the importance of these skills and how best to support with this at home. Although, our favourite part of the session is when the parents and carers joined us in class to join in with our exploration. Our provision was set up with lots of different gross motor skills activities including ice smashing and hoop toss. We can't wait for our next event!

Jack and The Bean Stalk Pantomime for KS1 and KS2
Tue 17 Dec 2024This week at SJH, we are in full Christmas festivity mode. KS1 and KS2 pupils enjoyed an exciting opportunity to watch the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk. The performance brought the classic tale to life with vibrant costumes, lively music, and plenty of laughter. It was a fantastic experience that encouraged imagination and introduced the children to the joy of live theatre.

Post-NCMP Workshop for Reception and Year 6 - Thursday 21st November
Wed 20 Nov 2024Pupils in Reception and Year 6 recently had their height and weight measured as part of the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP).
A reminder that there will be a follow-up parent workshop taking place on Thursday 21st November at 8.45am at the school.
You will hear from an NHS nurse about the recent height and weight measurements, and learn what you can do to make healthier choices at home, as well as having the opportunity to ask the nurse any questions you may have.
