  This term, the 'Goblins' are the Winning House!

   

  All the children in the Goblin house will enjoy their House Point treat next week.

• Healthy Tuckshop

  A group of Year 6 girls, who will be running the school's healthy tuckshop, analysed data today after they carried out market research in the playground last week. They totalled the tallies and identified the eight most popular products. Following this, they calculated the cost of each item and used this to decide on a price list, ensuring each item is priced fairly whilst still making a profit. The healthy tuckshop will open after the half term break, keep a lookout for posters around school! 

  

• Making Pancakes in Year 1

  This week the Year 1 children took part in a cooking workshop with head chef Gavin. The children made eggless pancakes. They weighed out ingredients, chopped up bananas, and fried up the pancakes on the hub. The children then ate them drizzled with honey and the bananas. The Year 1 children said they tasted delicious!

  Well done to Yellow Class, Dali Class and Darwin Class who won the special attendance prize today for best attendance in the Autumn Term!

• Stay and Play Sessions

  Stay and Play sessions are back on for the new year 2022! Just remember to wrap up warm so you can spend some time outdoors in the fresh air and don't forget to wear your mask and social distance. Remember, our sessions take place every Tuesday and Friday in the morning from 9.30-10.30am and in the afternoon from 1.15-2.15pm. We look forward to welcoming you.

  

• Morning Club Year 5 and 6

  We are so proud that 23 pupils from Year 5 and 6 braved the crisp conditions this morning and turned up to have fun and get active with Mr Mason and Miss Mc Luckie! 

  

• Year 6 Christmas Fayre

  Year 6 hosted a very successful Christmas Fayre today, raising money  for our School Parliament, who will decide how to spend it for the benefit of all the children in school.

   

  They sold pretty salt dough decorations, showed their artistic skills in face painting, to name but a few of the stalls on show. The candy floss stall was a hit, as was the notebook stall. Customers also queued for second-hand books and toys.

   

   

   

  It was a very festive day! Well done to all the children, teachers and support staff in year 6!

   

  

• Year 2 Nativity Performance!

  Well done to our Year 2 children who performed their nativity performance not once, but twice, today! The children have been practising so hard, and have even been learning the songs and dances since October! They did a fabulous job performing for family members today!

   

  We hope our parents/carers enjoyed watching the Nativity performance, and we thank you for being so patient with the measures that we had in place due to COVID-19.

  

• Christmas Jumper Day

  Thank you to everyone who wore a Christmas Jumper on Friday 10th December and gave a donation!

   

  We are pleased to announce that we raised £278.20 for the charity, "Save the Children".
