Our First Nursery Together
Tue 08 Mar 2022On Monday 7th March we had our first 'Nursery Together' session, where we focused on reading. Our parents came into the provision and engaged in activities with us. We had a fantastic time reading and listening to a story by Ms Josson.

Bach Class Geography Parent Workshop
Tue 08 Mar 2022The pupils and parents/carers from Bach class had a wonderful morning in school today. They showcased their artistic side by creating a painting; comparing Stratford before and after hosting the 2012 Olympic Games. They looked at natural and man-made features, maps and aerial photographs of the area to help them make the comparison. Some parents/carers gave feedback such as:
"Really great to interact with the children and participate in a lesson."
"Informative, creative work, highly constructive ideas, building confidence, teamwork with my child."
It was wonderful to have our parents/carers back with us in school!

Attendance Raffle!
Fri 04 Mar 2022The children receive a raffle ticket if they have 100% attendance at school each half term.
Well done to the five children who have won the attendance raffle today for their excellent attendance during Spring Term 1! The children got to pick an amazing prize!

World Book Day!

EYFS Story Hunt Workshop for Nursery

Geography Parent Workshop for Year 2

Local Artist working with school
Fri 25 Feb 2022This week, we were very excited to welcome local artist, Andrew Mutter, to school to work with our Year 3 and 4 pupils.
The children in Year 3 have been looking at primary and secondary colours through the work of Vincent van Gogh, and developing different brush strokes.
The children in Year 4 have been looking at Pointillism through the work of Georges Seurat, and developing painting techniques.
This is the beginning of an exciting term working with Andrew!

Year 1 Forest School Sessions
Fri 25 Feb 2022This afternoon, Year 1 have had sessions in our Forest School where they have been completing a scavenger hunt in the search of insects! It was a really fun learning experience, take a look at our pictures.

Half Term Holiday Projects

Tuck Shop!
Wed 23 Feb 2022Our enterprising healthy Tuck Shop has officially re-opened and what a huge success! The children involved in running the Tuck Shop have been busy promoting the opening, calculating revenue, checking stock levels and of course, selling their wares!
The children's effort in promoting the Tuck Shop resulted in big queues today! Don't forget to bring your small change to purchase a healthy delicious snack at breaktime. It will run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at playtime.
